REMEMBERING SOMEONE ELSE

this well-worn little teacup is full of thoughtful details. unpictured is a surprisingly fancy handle, pictured is some faded gold-leaf on the lip. i imagine being at your grandmother's house and sitting up straight to sip some very sweet tea- she's not stern you just feel proud of yourself to be trusted with a fragile grown-up thing. you wonder if the kids on the cup are Grammy and Grampa when they were small. that nostalgia comes thru the soft gray soy wax scented with Bing in Black & White, a blend of vintage Christmas Eve camphor and red currant; cedar and clove.
