autumn is for memories. we are not always haunted by strangers or ghouls. often that flicker we see in the corner of our eye is us. when days were lengthening and we felt even younger than we realized. when we wandered past a mass of purple flowers and felt like even our old love was new. the wispy figure brushing past me is me and I Still Remember May. what’s with that coil of wick? i wrapped the wick around a bamboo stick to center it in the tin and while it needs to be trimmed before burning, leaving it long reminds you that i made this on purpose and with hope that your days get better and easier. before trimming the wick, i suggest you notice any other weird, cute, whimsical thing around you and before you blow it out, make a wish, obviously!
